At Pure Storage we are implementing S/4HANA 2021 for Customer Service, Service Management modules and Asset Management module along with heavy integrations with third-party integrations
  • Integration with SAP products
  • Secure and simple network
  • Real time and Asynchronous messages
  • Holding the error message content for longer time
  • Increase the data limit to hold the error processing
  • Standard bold on or API integrations with Non SAP products like ServiceNow, Salesforce
If the organizations are using majority of the SAP products then it is well suited and but most fortune 500 are using multiple Saas products so need standard or out of box API with industry leading Saas applications. Integration architecture should be simple to deploy and easy to connect to SAP products at least to start with not taking months to implement

This is our first year integrating the integration suite. Previously, we had Boomi as our middleware. Since making the transition, our organization has better visibility to not only manage existing integrations but also optimize current business processes. For example, we have recently changed benefits providers. This provider has very specific data mapping requirements. The integration suite allows us to leverage our EC environment and, almost seamlessly, ensure concrete data integrity. It also supports the relationship between our organization and the vendor.
  • Better visibility on connections
  • Neo and cloud foundry options
  • Strengths relations with vendors
  • Affordable cost with licensing
  • Integration dashboard
  • More clear connector options
Well suited for:
-new/existing vendor integrations
-cloud to cloud connections
-downstream processes w/ SFTP

Integration suite is great for vendor connections between your HRIS platform (EC) and downstream vendors such as a retirement or benefits vendors, payroll management, or surveyor. It is very clear on both sides of the aisle what is and is not required to make a successful connection from one end point to the other.

Less appropriate:
-on premise integrations
-home grown applications
-simple file transfers

It is planned to employ EDI, Eventing, and API Management in the near future. When compared to SAP's older on-premise integration options, the SAP integration suite offers a wide variety of useful features.
  • Putting information somewhere it will stay for later use.
  • Using both synchronous and asynchronous connections.
  • not highly transferable to situations when neither party is using SAP
  • There are certain ideas here that are unique to SAP.
The consumer pricing is fair. And it supports sap s4 and ecc. Also we favor api over file-based option.

I am able to leverage current business data and purposes to create apps faster, increasing the organization's productivity. The solution addressed a number of difficulties, the most notable of which are use cases that demand BYOD: bring your own device configuration, which necessitates compatibility and breadth across various dimensions, which SAP Integration Suite supplies. The time necessary to create an interface is significantly shorter than that required in SAP PI or PO. While creating an interface in PI or PO might take many hours, it can be completed in CPI in an hour.
  • The drag-and-drop interface, as well as SAP regular improvements to its pre-packaged content, are also excellent features.
  • The security features (such as the cloud connection for sending data to the local system, as well as encryption and scrambling) are really beneficial.
  • Unlike other tools I've tested, the SAP connectivity package offers access to third-party cloud apps.
  • Prototyping may be completed more quickly, and the team can determine whether or not to proceed with the integration depending on the feedback process.
  • To assist with design and publication, the SAP connectivity package could surely benefit from additional user-friendly interfaces and functionality.
  • The overall cost of the product as well as the training required for the team to do Agile PoCs so that we can rapidly show the portions that are practical and high value.
It fits well in numerous scenarios and commerce cases for most companies, in my individual involvement I would suggest it to all organizations as we know the significance of secure information and analytics and coordinates work between diverse offices, and SAP Cloud Information it is one of the culminate apparatuses to handle all these necessities. It coordinating well with other valuable SAP arrangements like SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP S/4HANA and SAP Information Insights, it can too be coordinates with other non-SAP arrangements like Sky blue Advertisement, MS Viewpoint, Blackline, MS SharePoint, etc., to extend the workflow of the whole organization, the integration calculate is what makes it reasonable for our organization.

SAP Integration suite is very important cloud based service (iPaaS) which is part of BTP (Business Technology Product). It integrates Applications and processes from On-premises to Cloud. It has inbuilt Tools and content to help integrate Applications e.g. SAP ECC to SALESFORCE OR Microsoft Dynamics. It has AI based capabilities and automates the integrations.
  • Integrate Application across cloud and On-premises
  • Automates integrations
  • Tools and content to guide integrations
  • Less people trained on integration suite in market
  • SAP should encourage new technology certifications with partners
  • simplified documentation for leadership
SAP Integration suite is greate choice when you are integrating SAP with SAP or non-SAP systems and processes. e.g. integrating SAP ECC / S4HANA with SALESFORCE OR MICROSOFT DYNAMICS OR WORKDAY. It is also suitable when you are looking for tools for automating Integrations. It is also good incase of hybrid integrations.

In today's world, all organizations are facing same challenges of hybrid landscapes with a large IT eco-system. SAP is one of them, other on premise or cloud solutions are also part of the technology roadmap, and business needs requirement from the different departments.

Integrating all these sources to make them communicate together in a smart and secure way is one of the biggest challenges that Integration Suite is addressing.
  • Integrate and trace multiple replication flows between several SuccessFactors solutions, and SAP ERP
  • Enhancing the integration process with third applications as Mulesfost and Boomi
  • More smart analytics
  • Centralize management cockpit
Manage multiple business flows and API endpoints between multiple SaaS solutions and SAP eco-systems. Accelerating the data exchange between multiple sources, consolidate and aggregate this data in a secured and synchronized process.
The monitoring cockpit and handling the error messaging is a little bit tricky, and might be extremely challenging if you share it directly with the business users and owners

Onboarding new customers to cloud environments. SAP Integration Suite made the lift and shift operations seamless with a minimum workforce. Simple user interface and is understandable. Self-explanatory product with a remarkable technical support team assisting with any queries during the migration activities performed. It also has a graphical User interface which is detailed and works efficiently.

  • AI Enabled Cloud Integration
  • API management
  • B2B Integration
  • Access Control
  • Availability of more 3rd Party Applications.
  • Improvement in the Graphical UI
The customer had a wide application environment that was unorganized and unstructured. With the help of SAP Integration Suite, we were able to migrate all the applications hassle free from the On-Premise Infrastructure to different cloud environments, i.e. AWS and Azure. The entire process was easily managed by our Security Architects and Security Consultants with minor learning needed.

We are using it for our clients and providing them solutions to harmonized access to their third-party cloud applications. It help them to break silos of data and have 360 degree view of business metrics and processes. By using SAP integration suite the implementation cycle has been reduced substantially. Hence saving in cost and time.
  • Breaking silos of information and offer 360 degree view
  • Easy and robust library of prepackaged integration with 3rd party applications
  • Reduction in time of implementation.
  • More ease to integrate 3rd party
Companies implementing non-SAP EAM solution but need to integrate other SAP applications such as ERP. Unless ERP is not integrated with EAM system many functionalties will not work and give companies full benefits of EAM. Integration of SAP with 3rd party applications is not easy but this suite helps to smoothly accomplish that.

It’s a great tool that seamlessly integrates with our existing systems and performs easy cloud migration. It was used by our customers to migrate from on-premises infrastructure to the cloud, and it made life way easy because they were struggling to perform the migration to the cloud. It also takes into account requirements and caters to your specific needs.
  • Cloud integration.
  • API management.
  • 3rd party cloud application.
  • Hybrid integration development.
  • It’s really good.
  • No changes required.
  • Better interface.
For individuals who do not involve in migration activities. Also, people who have a very small on-premises infrastructure can do the migration easily without the help of the SAP integration suite. Places like restaurants don’t need it, and also direct consumers don’t need it because it’s not relevant. I think that’s pretty much it.

We manly use the CPI to distribute our data from and to various SAP and third party systems.
  • Creation of integration artefacts with the possibility of customizing (e.g. Groovy Scripting)
  • The logging options in CPI (Cloud Foundry) are sadly not that detailed as in Neo. I am missing the detailed tracing options (e.g. lgsf traces/logs)
  • Manual stopping of Iflows
  • Revert deletion of Artefacts/Packages, i.e. some kind of trash bin option
Integration can be done quick and easy with the prepackaged integration content, but also customized interfaces can be build. Therefore I would say it can be used in any setup and is suitable in almost every scenario where data needs to be distributed.

It streamlines various internal and external applications integration for us. There are a couple of functions which are supported by its readymade connectors and APIs
  • Integration between in house and external applications
  • Ability to use readymade connectors
  • Provides great DevOps capabilities and support
  • AI could be embraced more and simplified usage while building apps
  • Embracing newer and global development suite rather than over reliance on its niche development language skillls
  • 3rd Party apps integration can be improvised
It offers great platform which supports Autonomous Digital Enterprise vision of Digital firms. However, challenges with 3rd party applications integration and over dependency on niche development skills are a drawback.

1. SAP integration methods do not extend well to third-party systems, nor even we can call end clients. 2. Inconsistent configuration increases complexity and costs. 3. Specialized skill set requirements lead to slow delivery.
  • Deliver end-to-end processes across value streams, such as lead to cash and design to operate.
  • Connecting experiences with continued feedback.
  • Building digital eco systems and innovating on new business models to perform efficiently.
  • API management is accurate when we integrate.
  • Out of the box integrations should be developed and implemented.
  • Holistic integration must be involved while we implement the integration.
  • Can be made available for integrating with non sap integrations also.
Since the integration takes a lot of time and complexity, an experienced person can be able to make the integration successful with another suite by not facing many challenges. And accuracy matters when we integrate the sap with the other details in order to successfully complete the integration process automatically.

I use it to integrate different technologies/solutions and customization across the company. It supports multiple SAP ERP systems. Most of the HCM/SF problems we faced earlier are now resolved using this tool. Data transfer from one client system to another is very easy now, and we can add any complex business logic to the flow.
  • Adding business logic via mapping
  • Moving large datasets from one system to another
  • Keeping multiple systems in sync for Data transmission
  • Third party integrations can be more optimised
  • Payload storage should be increased
  • SDI tends to be slower at times
It is well suited where you need to transfer data or integrate two systems, and that process also needs some complex business logic to be used.

Personally, I use SAP Integration Suite for connecting to all my external applications especially to Salesforce as most of my Important Business Data is in Salesforce. I like SAP's simple-to-use integration service which supports REST API Integration. Sap Integration Suite also provides a real-time Integration service that is resource-intensive but powerful.
  • Easy Integration with External System
  • Use of Rest APIs
  • Realtime Data Transfer
  • Connecting with Salesforce
  • Connecting with WhatsApp
  • Connecting with External Services
SAP Integration suite can be used wherever we need to connect SAP with third-party software. I personally connected Salesforce with SAP using Rest API which created accounts in Salesforce directly from SAP it was a batch API and the task was scheduled for daily at 10 am which highlights its scheduling functionality.

My organization uses the SAP Integration Suite to integrate seamlessly with our on-premise / cloud-based software without any issues. It’s been a nice vendor-relationship knowing that this “just works. We also used a lot of third-party cloud applications and needed to ensure that the lead time was limited due to project time constraints and the ease of usability increased for our customers. SAP helped make it happen.
  • AI-enabled cloud and hybrid integration
  • Ability to design and publish APIs
  • Limited knowledge curve - makes it easy to onboard new devs
  • SAP claims adaptability is a “pro” but we’ve found that its been a bit of a challenge internally (unsure if thats us or the product)
  • More clear understandings of governance and security (but this may be a marketing situation)
  • Capabilities are endless - we wish we had more of an education after we set things up so we knew how to expand.
SAP Integration Suite is best suited for areas where you are looking for a pre packed, managed integration blow, business events, and general APIs. SAP claims that it has a broad catalog of third-party integration packs and its completely true. We’ve used multiple in the offers we provide our customers.

We have adopted a cloud-first and API first integration strategy, and SAP integration suits gave us the ability to connect out SAP and non-SAP systems in real-time to mobile which enable our workforce to be compliance with global policy There are several where SAP API management helps to expose our data and process as an API to connect non-cloud based application with on-premise application
  • to connect cloud application with on premise application
  • To expose data and process the data via api
  • ability to connect SAP system in real time to mobile
  • bug and error reporting process can be improved and well can be well documented
  • Documentaion and community support
  • well explained senario and documentation
SAP is suited for the below scenarios where less downtime and [quick response] time required resources API management and third party connection integration with AWS service such as AWS Lambda Not suitable for As SAP require basic training to be completed to get familiar and easily work where the team are not capable of [learning] quickly then SAP is not recommended

SAP Integration Suite is a powerful tool offered by SAP on BTP to integrate SAP on-premise or cloud applications with non-SAP applications being on cloud or on-premise. In our use case, the Integration Suite [has been used] to [integrate] our on-cloud SAP Subscription Billing with our in-house SAP SD (Sales and Distribution). The master Data replication was one of the processes that are in place. Another integration topic is the replication of the Invoicing Documents generated in SAP Subscription Billing in on-premise SAP SD. The integration process was very easy with the use of the Integration Suite.
  • Integration of applications
  • Master data integration
  • Integration to 3rd party applications
  • A better UI
  • More prebuilt integration packs
Its ability to integrate two SAP systems is unbeatable. It has been an easy job to integrate the SAP Subscription Billing with our SD. It offers preconfigured integration scenarios that for SAP - to - SAP systems are very intuitive and easy to implement. Integration with very custom applications is not the strongest point and I think that needs some improvements even though there are +200 open connectors.
